In 1949, brothers Ray, Americo, and Dominic Mazziotti started a Texaco station on the corner of Washington Ave and Baxter Boulevard. Decades later, Ray’s son, Jay Mazziotti, built on that legacy, opening Mazziotti Motor Works and Logan Oil in Portland, Maine.
